Formatting C: without touching any other partetions

Mohamed

Dear All:
This is my 1st post and I wish to find help,
I'm searching for a thing but did not find any reply yet at all,
I'm a member in many forums like msfn.org and many other and did tried
to search and ask there but nothing found yet,
sorry for the introduction
well, here is the simple question:
I've finished my unattended cd with all my applications, drivers,
updates, tweaks, ..etc and every thing I may need, and did used the
winnt.sif to manage every thing,
but in the text setup mode in the clean install for xp I'm still have
to choose which partetion to install XP to and wether to format it or
not and will it be FAT32 or NTFS,
Also the entries AutoPartition=1 & Repartition = Yes | No in the
winnt.sif did not helped,
So all I want to do is to let setup do formatting partetion C: with
NTFS automatically without touching any other partetions in the Drive.
then to go on with the unattended setup.
is it possible
Thanks

password, type:DiskPart In DiskPart, delete the unwanted partition(s) or all
of them,then create one,press ESC key,then either type:FORMAT C: /FS:ntfs
or type:EXIT Reboot to xp cd,select install xp.

I think you may need to use a PE disk to accomplish this. Maybe these
