Formating code appears in report

I have imported a database from an earlier verion of Access into Access 2007.
I want to print a report with a note field. Unfortunately, this field prints
full of coding information such as "<blockquote> <div> <font=cambria=2>
&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp" etc. I don't want any of this
information to appear in the report. How can I make it so it isn't shown?

Open the report in design view.

Right-click the problem text box, and choose Properties.

In the Properties sheet, set the Text Format property to:
Rich Text
