Can a cell that is formated for percentage be red if the percentage is
negative
 
Hi Steve
1) with custom format 0%;[Red]0%
OR
2) using Format |Condition Format; Formula is A1<0 ... format font or
background to red
best wishes
 
Yeah, just set a custom format of

0%;[Red]0%;0%
