Hi,

I am using Word with Outlook 2003 but I would like to use Word's Format
Painter with Outlook. Is this possible? I do not see it in Outlook and I've
tried to customize Outlook's toolbar but do not see the Format Painter
anywhere in Outlook.

Tony

I've still had no reply. I have Outlook 2003 and use it with Word 2003. In
Word and other Office applications you can use the "format painter" is it
available in Outlook 2003? I have Word set as my editor but see no icon in
Outlook for format painter and neither a menu item.

John

It appears to not be available in Outlook 2003 using Word 2003 as the
message editor. One possible workaround (involves some customer pain,
however) is to create a Word document and then the command to send to mail
recipient (not as attachment.)

I misspoke myself. Open a new mail message with Word as the editor. Then,
place your cursor in the message body. Go to Tools->Customize and on the
Commands tab, highlight Format. Scroll down and you will see the Format
Painter that you can add to your toolbar.

Thanks Milly!

I really love that format painter. I know why I couldn't find it. I did go
to Tools/Customize but what I didn't do was open up a new msg so I would
modify the correct tool bar.
