Hello!
I am using Excel 2003 and trying to modify the comment arrow(default
red). I go to:
click cell > edit comment > right click the border > select format
comment > select tab Colors and Lines. At the bottom I see the Arrows
options but everything is shaded gray(not modifiable) that is the Begin
style End style etc.
The question is why and how do I get it modifiable? Thank's ahead.

Comment indicators are red, and there's no option to change that setting. As a
workaround, you can draw triangular shapes over the indicators, and fill them
with a different colour from the palette.

The "Arrows" section is for Autoshapes only and has nothing to do with Comments.

i.e. Activate Drawing Toolbar and click on the arrow icon.

Draw an arrow and right-click on it and format.

The "Arrows" settings will be available.
