Format a floppy disk

How do you format a 1.44 floppy disk on a system using
Windows 2000 and the NTFS file system.

Right click your floppy in My Computer and select Format...

You cannot format a floppy with NTFS, though, there is not enough space for
the about 5MB that the NTFS file system needs. Floppies normally use the
file system FAT12.
