Form Validation

I have created a message forum using FP, and it's working exactly as
intended....so my question is: how do I correctly validate the input
forms so that when the "submit" button is clicked with no information
in the fields, it will prompt the user to enter information? A stupid
question probably! I just want someone to have to "work" at least a
little bit before submitting a bogus message. Thanks very much!

Chuck - I've just started having problems with spam through the form on my
website and have tried using the graphic letter trick. How do you do it in a
separate box (as you have done on your form)? When I ask for the letters to
be typed in the actual form, it will only accept the letters and nothing more
- so it is not solving the problem. There doesn't seem to be a way to do
that through the "validation" textbox on FrontPage 2003. Please see
www.artful.ca/message.htm
Thanks
