I just published my site and I have a couple issues I need help with, site is
1800creditreport.com
First on the home page the drop down form for "pick a credit card" doesn't
redirect to a page inside my website like they were supposed to.
Second the next 2 buttons "Find Auto Loans" and "Find a Mortgage"
hyperlinks don't work. I wanted to hyperlink the individual button, not add
the submit button, can anyone help me solve ANY of my issues I would truly
appreciate it.

Hi Kim.

I see the buttons work. Good job.

I am not a script person, so I can't comment on the DD form you are using.
The one I gave you a link to works however. Why don't you try it.

Ok,

Now you are using FrontPage validation for the DD which is unnecessary in
this case.

Undo this.

Go to the DD >> Open DD Menu Properties >> Double click "Choose you new
credit card". Now check "Specify Value. Don't do anything else.

Click on "Validate" and uncheck "Disallow first choice". It just wont do
anything by selecting the first choice, only if they select the page options.

Now go to HTML view to the initial form tag for the DD. If it hasn't changed
automatically, rename the form to dropdownmenu. This is what it is called in
the script. They need to be identical. When you use a script like this in
conjunction with FP, it will always change the form name to something
FrontPage_Form1 So the instances in the script have to be changed to match.
In this case however the validation isn't needed.

I didn't notice this when you started the thread, but you haven't even
created/published these pages. That is the reason you were getting the 404
previously. I assumed the pages existed. I tried a couple as is and with html
extension instead of htm. They didn't display.

Are you sure you place these pages in the same web? Might sound like a dumb
question, but I have made mistakes that surpass that.

If they are in a sub web you will have to link to them that way. If not, you
either have to create all of them of make sure they are published. They can't
link if they aren't there.

My apologies for not noticing that sooner.

Once you are done with this, double check everything. When you republish, it
should work.

Kom,

No problemo.

My first form had @ 75 fields. It didn't work, so I jumped on my web host
about it. They kindly pointed out that although the form looked good, it had
no form tags surrounding it. We were all newbies oncel.
