Form problem

I have some forms with tick boxes in but the tick boxes were created through
the check box in the control toolbox toolbar by mistake and I want to delete
them and replace with check boxes through the forms toolbar. Every time I
try to delete the boxes it throws me out of Word and comes up with a cyclic
reference error. Anyone any ideas what this is? I have another form which
is almost identical but this one is fine and has let me delete and replace
the boxes.

Many thanks.

Have you attached any macros to these checkboxes?

What is the exact wording of the error message you're getting?

Which version of Word are you using?

As a last resort, you could start a new document then copy everything over
EXCEPT these checkboxes...

No there aren't any macros attached. I've opened a copy of the template and
its letting me delete them now. Very strange. Anyway thanks for your help.
