Form #Name? Error

C

C. Hernandez

I have a database that is left open for most of the day by the users. The
users click back and forth from a form to other applications. Most of the
time the form works fine. Intermittently, the users will get the following
error message:
The Microsoft Jet database engine could not find the object ‘Scripts’. Make
sure the object exists and that you spell its name and the path name
correctly.

The database sits on a server, but the form is fed from a stand-alone table.
Once this error occurs, all the fields fill in with #Name?.

I have never seen this happen on such an inconsistent basis. Any help would
be greatly appreciated.

The database sits on a server, but the form is fed from a stand-alone table.

What does this mean?
Is it in the same database that is on the server?
Is it in another database on that server?
Is it in a database on the local machine?
