Form Multiline Question

Hello,

I have created a form using a table. I used the bottom border of the cells to create the lines to type on. Now, When someone is typing on a line I need it to go to the next line which would be in the next cell. Instead, the typing word-wraps within the cell. Is there anyway of doing this?

Here is an example of what I mean. It's not exactly doing it in here but the two lines are two different cells. When the person filling this out gets to the end of the line it should go to the next line. any ideas? I tried converting the form to pdf but apparently in adobe reader it will not save the changes if they choose to email as an attachment.

Hi,

I found an article about that finally. thank you for replying.

What I found out and seems to work is to merge the cells and make them large
enough to fit the amount of lines needed and then turn the underline on for
the form field so that it will underline as it goes.

I have one more question. I will post it separately.

Jack,

Another possibility is to double-click the text form field to enter the
properties dialog box and set a maximum number of characters for each cell.
That way the user has to TAB to the next line and it can't cause the row to
drop down. If I need to use this feature I usually type as many "W"'s as
possible to find out how many characters the cell can hold if the largest
letter is used. This ensures you don't allow too many characters.

Just an idea.
