I have a Word document with form fields. The only way I
can get the form fields to calculate (example -- the row
with Total Estimated Hardware Costs -- the Estimated Low
[HLo] and Estimated High [HHi] content) is by entering the
numbers in the fields above the total line, removing
the 'Protect Form' feature, double clicking the cell in
each column (HLo and HHi on the .Total. row, and finally,
clicking OK on the "Text Form Field Options" screen.
We've learned through this process that the 'Calculate on
exit' field on the Text Form Field Options window only
calculates when Word is closed. That's not helpful for
our application.
Any suggestions?
