Form Errors

Hello -

I'm using FP 2003. I have created a page in Front Page
and placed a form and form field on the page. I want the
user to be able to type in certain things (such as their
weight) and when they click the Submit button, I want the
value that they entered into the text box automatically
be submitted to an existing Microsoft Access database.

I've set up the Advanced Options in the Form Field
properties to specify which database, and which field
within the specific table that it should be submitted
to. When I try to preview the page, it shows me a page
with just code on it, instead of what the page really
should look like. It also tells me that I need to save
the page with an .asp extension. I've done this, but it
doesn't change anything.

When I save the page back to the original way, with
an .htm extension, I can then preview the page and have
it look the way it should, but something is still not
right, because again, it says to save it with an .asp
extension.

Please help!! I've spent hours going round and round with
this problem. I'm a relatively new FP user and need all
the help I can get!

Thanks so much!

When you test the form/database, the pages must have a .asp extensions and you must test then on a
Windows IIS webserver that support ASP and Access via http://
