Form Detail Section Disappeared?!

I have created a form based on fields in a corresponding
table in the design view. My form has fields in the "form
header", "form detail", and "form footer" sections.
Everything looks great even in the Print Preview. However
in the Form View, everything that is in the "detail"
section of my form is gone. It is as if when I change
from design view to form view, the detail section
collapses or disappears. In the Design View I have
repeatedly gone to the properties menu for the "detail"
section and made sure that it is always visible but to no
avail it is still gone when I switch to the form view.
Please HELP!

The detail section of a form appears "completely blank" whenever there are
no existing records to display and the form/recordset does not allow the
addition of new records.
