All I want to do is make a drop-down list and depending on the selection of,
have another control (probably a text box?) auto fill with values.

Objective: One form format, different "Issued for" options, which in turn
generates appropriate distribution list (recipients).

Open to suggestions. :c)

Thank you!!!!!

http://gregmaxey.mvps.org/Linked_DropDown_Fields.htm or some adaptation of
it should do what you need.

Since there are so many "safety" issues around using "macros", is there any
other way to accomplish this task, or are macros the only way it can be done?
:o\

I suspect the new content controls in Word 2007 can handle this kind of
linkage without macros, although I haven't tried it yet. Other than that,
no, there's no other way.
