i have a database sorted, already created forms to edit table,
been trying for hours to creat a search form.
i want a text box, and a look up combo box bounded to the main data base, i
want the user to be able to select and item from the combox, then type what
they are looking for from that category, then click search, which will bring
up a list of the names in the database which match, or close to what they
typed. i also want a "SEARCH ALL" function in the combo box where the user
searches for all categories in combox. the results will be displayed on the
same page jus below the for showing the field names of the item searched. can
any1 help? feel free to ask any questions

I have some examples on my websites that may help with the code, although
there is a wizard that may also help. Turn it on by clicking the wand on the
toolbox when in Design View. Combo and list boxes have most of the same
properties and share much of the same code:
