Form Design - moving objects

When attempting to resize objects in form design view using the shift and
arrow keys, the movement is jumpy and does not enlarge or become smaller in
consistent increments. I've experienced this in Access 2002 and 2003, but
not Access 2000.

Most notably, when I try to expand (lengthen) a straight line, using shift
and arrow keys, the line "breaks up" (no longer straight) and becomes useless.

Why is this happening? Is this a flaw in Access 2002 and 2003?

Tank,

It used to irritate me too. When I design forms now, I make liberal use of:

- cutting and pasting controls that I want to have similar properties and
changing the ControlSource and any other unique properties
- the Format, Size Format, Align, and Format spacing commands to work on
multiple controls

You can also change one or more control's Left, Top, Width, and Height
properties manually, including the line.

Thanks, Sprinks. I do those procedures too, but it still irritates me to the
point that I prefer working with Access 2000. There's gotta be a fix to this
problem. It's clearly a Microsoft design glitch that should be corrected.
I'm surprised it hasn't been addressed and corrected by now.
