Form Controls show in design view but no where else

Very confused....I created a form using the wizard with controls from
a number of tables but when I finished the form looked blank.

Going in to design view the controls are present (and not off the
screen). Any ideas?

Many thanks,

Danny

The way you combined the tables for your form's RecordSource, the results
are read-only. And with the joins/criteria, there are no records to display.
If there are no records to show, and a new record cannot be added, the
Detail section of your form goes blank.

So would this be anything to do with the relationships I have set up
between the tables? The data entry property is set to no and though
none of the tables have any records I thought that was the point of
forms....you use them to enter information into tables.

The problems isn't your relations. In essence, you are trying to enter data
into too many tables in this form.

Start with the fields from just one table. The form will work fine. Add a
subform to enter data into a related table.

The Data Entry property is a bit confusing. It means, "Don't show any
existing records, i.e. just use the form to enter new ones."
