Form Confirmation page(s)?

Y

you know who maybe

When I submit my form instead of getting the custom confirmation page I get
"Form Confirmation" page with a link to the my custom confirmation page
named "Return to the form". How can I get to the custom confirmation page
directly after I submit the form?

Thanks!

You need to post a link to your form.

Try doing this directly on the live/remote site from within FP, is doing this locally and then
publishing.

I've been working off the live site all along. Here is my workflow with FP
2003:

I first open IE to the page I want to edit, i.e.,
http://www.day120.com/sample.html

From the file menu I choose Edit with Microsoft Office FrontPage

Enter username and password

Right-click on form data and choose Form Properties | Options | Confirmation
Page tab | click Browse | select samplethankyou.html, click OK.

Close FP. Answer Yes to "save changes to http://day120.com/sample.html?"

Return to IE and hit F5 to refresh, load form data, click submit.

Server is Windows 2000 with FP 2002 extensions
Thanks

Try a Recalculate Hyperlinks on the live web, it might help.

Do you always work 'live'? If so, you should Publish back to your local machine once in a while so you have a backup.

Try opening the site directly in FP, via File Menu | Open Site instead of via Edit with FP in IE.

It is still a custom confirmation page.

Select form properties, then 'Options' then "Confirmation Page" tab, then
put in the url to your own confirmation page.

Your </form> tag is in the wrong place in the page
- move it to right after <input type="reset" value="Clear Entry">

I finally got it to work. I don't know what was wrong with my original
custom confirmation page but I discovered when created a new page using FP's
Confirmation Page Template it worked fine. So then I modified that page with
my styles, etc., and it still works. Strange. New page can be viewed here:
