Form background colour problem

I have a form with 2 sub forms. Randomly when the forms are loaded the main
form's background colour appears white and the command buttons are not
visible. The sub forms are normal. I have never seen this before. Has
anyone any idea what is happening?

It may be the record source of the main form is null or corrupt.

I appear to have solved my problem. I noticed the form flashed white when
loading & would sometimes stay white & other times change to grey. When I
minimized form & then mazimized the colour was corrrect.
So I stuck a DoEvents in the form "On Open" and so far everything seems to
be working properly
