Form allows no entries

Help! I had a database for quality entries. All the sudden it stopped
working. I suspect someone opened it with Access 2007 and it was written in
Access 2003. I recreated a new database, new tables, new form and still
can't make entries except in the header for standard buttons like close form
or quit application. Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks

Hi Larry,

Opening the database using Access 2007 should not cause a problem, unless
the user converted the .mdb file to the newer .accdb file format.
I recreated a new database, new tables,....

Can you can open these tables and see your existing data? Are you able to
edit any data directly within the table? Are you able to edit existing data
in a query?
new form and still can't make entries except in the header for standard buttons
like close form or quit application.

I'm not following what you are saying here "can't make entries except in the
header for standard buttons".

Have you checked that the Read Only attribute did not get set for this file?
Try following the instructions that I show on the lower half of page 3, of a
Word document that I call "Access Links". You are welcome to download a copy
from my web site.
