Hiya!

I accidentally pressed a key combination on an MDE
database file and it let me see the design of the form but
not the code. I now can’t remember what that key
combination was. Can someone advise me what this was?

Thanks again.

Hi, Sam.

One should not be changing the design of forms and reports in an MDE
database file. Instead, use the MDB file to make the changes to the form,
then create a new MDE database file.

One of the main purposes of an MDE is to prevent users from altering the
design of the application's objects. Many Access developers believe that
their designs are protected if they create and distribute only an MDE
database file. There would be an uproar if these developers found out that
their database applications were so easy to alter -- and copy.

HTH.
