forgotten password for frontpage

I forgot my password for my frontpage and am wondering if I should just
delete frontpage from my harddrive and reinstall and this time remember my
password. I am trying to update my website and cannot access it without the
correct password.

If you are referring to the password that you must use when publishing to
the remote web, uninstalling FP won't help. You'll need to contact your
host. The password is on the remote server.

If you are talking about a password for your local PC, what version of FP
are you referring to? I don't know why FP would ask for a password to open
a local web.

Contact your host, or refer to the email you would (might) have received
with your log on details for the hosting account.

I'm not sure deleting your site (or uninstalling Frontpage or whatever....)
is going to help you remember your password....???
