Forest Prep Failure due to OS X Schema

In
I ran the undo script using: ldifde -i -f rename_undo.txt -v -c DC=X
dc=Y,dc=Z and got the following message:
Logging in as current user using SSPI
Importing directory from file "rename_undo.txt"
Loading entries
1: cn=x500uniqueIdentifier,CN=Schema,CN=Configuration,dc=X,dc=Y,dc=Z

Add error on line 5: No Such Object
The server side error is "Directory object not found."
0 entries modified successfully.
An error has occurred in the program

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Larry

Same question to Taylor: Any errors in the event logs? May I assume you ran
the script on the Schema master?

yes, when DC1 was the schema master i did run it on the schema master
server, no event logs error that stood out from the rest.

transfered the schema role to dc2 via the gui method, waited an hour,
ran the IOP script and did the forest prep..

I Believe the script did modify the 2 entries in the end.. despite the
errors.

That's what I was thinking too. Is it working now? Are you able to run
forestprep?

yes i could run forestprep.. the thing which stumps me is that when DC1
was the schema master i still couldn't do forest prep...

my issues are fix, Thanks Ace!

hope Larry gets back to you with his issues

I didn't understand that either, but glad you got it fixed. I hope Larry

Hey guys

I was away for a litle while and was unable to check the event logs.
Now that I'm back it dosent appear that there was any event logs that
stand out. I ran the script on our domain controller and since we only
have one DC I'm assuming that this would be the schema master. Am i
correct assuming this? Should I add an additional 2000 dc and try
running the script on it?

Any insight you can offer is appreciated
Thanks,
