Forecast Function

I would like to forecast sales for the last 6 months of
this year based on data from the first 6 months. I am not
sure how to set it up using the Forecast function, nor do
I understand what HELP is telling me. I'm hoping for
examples of what X, Known Y's and Known X's are.

Cindy Lou,

If for example you were to predict sales based on advertising expense the
Known X's would be Advertising Expense for the past six months, and the
Known Y's would be Sales for the past six months.
