Forced log off

2000 Pro when trying to log on as a local user they are
automatically logged of before local settings are applied.
Administrators and members of are not affected.
 
Sounds like there is a logon policy set for the users. Go to Start, Run and
type gpedit.msc, and then look in User Configuration -> Windows Settings ->
Scripts and see if there is anything there.
