force clients to use a particular DHCP server

I

Ian Sutherland

I want to make my clients use a particular DHCP server.
We are migrating from Netware to Windows Server 2003 AD
domain and will be doing a staged migration.
currently clients receive ip addresses from a non-windows
DHCP server, but as we visit each client to join the
domain we want to set it to use the Windows Server 2003
DHCP server.
Therefore we want all clients on the new domain to
receive their addresses from the new DC but clients on
the netware domain should continue to get there's
elsewhere.
Is this possible.
I thought of using a seperate user class and using
setclassid on the clients but I think this will only
allow me to provide seperate scope options not prevent
clients from getting an address.
Thanks for any ideas
