For or Database Results

Dear Frontpage Users I need your advice please,

I am using FP 2003 and trying to figure out how to create a drop down box
which provides a list of surnames to select from - I then want to submit the
query and get the results from a simple database I have set up and provide a
bio of the squad players from my soccer team.

I've tried and tried but cannot figure out how to do it even using the "How
to do everything with FP" book -

I'm not normally one for giving up but this has got me beat I'm afraid.

I have created my web-page as as .asp file extension and tried to follow the
guides from the book but alas I cannot achieve what I want.

Please can you help,

Best regards,

Brian

Kathleen,

thanks for the guidance - I have used the link however cannot d/l your
database (the link seems dead) - have tried the instructions with my own
database but when I create my drop-down list it appears blank for the
surnames.

I think this has something to do with the database but all I've done is open
a database, create a table with several columns and saved it. Set up the
connection ok as per your instructions.

I was thinking I could look at how your "myauto" database is structured and
mirror that !

Thanks for your help so far - I'm a lot further ahead...

Best regards,

Brian
