For No Reason System Pauses Even With Just The Desktop On Screen

Hello

Does any one know what whould make a Perfectly Working Windows XP HOME
with Service pack 2 Installed on it want to Pause. I haven't Updated Any
thing but it just started it. It has been working perfectly for over 3 years
and then this starts. I have checked every thing including SPAM AND VIRUS
Detector and all have come up CLEAN. I have 120 GB Storage and have not
filled half of it, 1.6 GB AMD chip, 1 GB Memory, 128MB 8X AGPVideo Card. All
of them work Perfectly. I have even transfered the Parts to another System
and there is NO Pauseing Problem with the Other System. So What Else could be
wrong. P.S. It also does it to what ever Program that I have running as well.

You don't need to shout with all caps. I don't understand your logic in not
updating XP Home.

Describe 'Pause'. Blank Screen? Welcome Screen comes up? Auto logout? What?

Or does the system just stop responding?
