Footnotes

If by chance you meant 'footer' not 'footnote':
On ribbon click View; click Page Layout tool (look to left of ribbon)
You will see 'Click to add Header" and if you scroll down, "Click to add
Footer"

Excel will not put footnotes at the bottom of the page, but
it will print cell comments at the end of the worksheet.
File, Page Setup, Sheets, (Excel 2007: Page Layout, Page Setup,
Sheets,)
[x] Row and Column Headings
Comments: At End of Sheet

If you don't like the manner in which cell comments are printed at the end,
you can create a file or another worksheet with the cell comments themselves
