Exactly what would I put into the footer (Page setup) to get the
footer to print 1 of 12, 2 of 12 etc? Thanks. IE. user
 
That's what Help is for. Open IE, click Help at the top, then Contents and
Index, click the index tab and enter page setup then display and read all
about it.

Click the ? in the upper right corner to activate Windows Context
Sensitive Help, then click inside the footer entry space.
