Footer printed diferently than print preview in Word

I use the footer autotext option of page X of Y. In Print Preview I see page
X of Y (e.g. 2 of 12, 3 of 12, 4 of 12). But when I print I get page X of X
(e.g. 2 of 2, 3 of 3, 4 of 4).
