Is it possible to change the format of Date in the Header/ Foote
Say, from the default M/D/YYYY to DD/MMM/YYY

AFAIK not directly possible. But you may use the following macro (put
it in your workbook module - not in a standard module):

Private Sub Workbook_BeforePrint(Cancel As Boolean)
Dim wkSht As Worksheet
For Each wkSht In Me.Worksheets

.CenterFooter = Format(date,"DD/MMM/YYYY")
