how can i enlarge the font table in windows to install
more fonts
I use Adobe Type Manager Deluxe to manage fonts. The program manages
all font formats (True Type and PostScript, etc). The advantage to
using the program is that you can install as many fonts as you want,
but then "deactivate" those you don't want to use all the time. And it
lets you activate fonts for use on the fly. Great program for managing
fonts, by far.
I'm curious, doesn't the font applet in control panel allow you to add
fonts? I ask because I never use that applet (simply opening it causes
an unwanted interaction with the Adobe product, nothing critical, just
that font names are added again, you'd have to use the prog to see
what I mean)
So... I'm not sure what you mean by "font table." I was not aware that
Windows had a limit to how many fonts you installed. Though it is
generally not a good idea to add 1000's of fonts to your computer and
have them all active at the same time.
