This is a font question. I've installed an Opentype family of fonts called
Frutiger. It's got 14 different fonts in the family. The problem is that
not all of the brothers and sisters shows up in PPT or Word. They do show
up as installed in a program like Photoshop. Is there a preference
somewhere I can turn on or off? Just someplace I can address this problem?
Thanks,

Windows has never been good at dealing with families of fonts that include more
than the basic four weights and as I recall, the internal font naming
conventions are different Mac vs PC; sometimes the font may be properly set up
for a Mac but not have the right info for PC.

The better graphics programs tend to take fonts into their own hands rather
than relying on Windows for just this reason; that might account for why
Photoshop does things a bit differently from the others.

But also, check to see whether Photoshop has its own private stash of fonts.
At one time some of the Adobe apps did this, don't know whether they still do
or not. They'd install a set of fonts in a private location where only the
Adobe apps could find them.
