Fonts misbehaving

I am having a frustrating problem when a try to copy a worksheet containing charts into another worksheet (as a copy). An error message pops up and tells me "No more new fonts may be applied to this worksheet". It takes plenty of clicking on the error message to get rid of it. The sheet copies across, but all the fonts have change size and format (back to default).
Even making edits to the sheet after it is inserted brings up the same message.

I am worried that this may lead to data loss.

Any thoughts?
