fonts/boldening

Hello all,

I just twiddled around with my fonts (I was copying them all onto my thumb
drive), and something happened so that now all my screen fonts (whatever
windows uses to display all text in BOLD ...like the text in the explore menu
on the left of the newsgroupsl, for example. that's all bold. everything's
bold.

Things like this annoy me. Anyone have any fix ideas? I tried restoring; I
guess restore doesn't moniter the fonts folder!

Try going into Start, Control Panel, Display (or Appearance and Themes if
using Windows XP). Select the Appearance Tab, then the Advanced Tab. This
will take you to a drop down list for various views (such as Menu, Icons,
etc.). Start at the top of this list (3D Icons) and scroll down using your
arrow key. For each item, look at the Bold (B) button. If it appears
highlighted as you scroll down this list, just press the B button to
unhighlight. Save or Apply settings and your bolding problem should
disappear.
