fonts (arial) not showing up on cd-r copied from Packaged for CD

My ppt is not showing certain fonts (arial, times roman). I copied the CD
from the 'Packaged for CD' which allows users who don't have ppt on thier
computer to view the presentation. What could be causing this. I tried the
embeded feature with no luck. Could this be some kind of security feature my
company is doing to block distribution of the material? It was ppt given by
my company at a national sales meeting.

Arial and Times New Roman are Standard fonts that should be installed on
every Windows computer - no need to embed them.Which font do the slides show
instead of these?

Thanks for the reply.

It actual shows more obscure fonts that contained various research papers.
Thats what has me perplexed. Pictures, diagrams, tables, etc. show up, just
basic fonts don't. Strange!
