Font size

The font size on browser pages is huge, while others are
normal. How can the font size be set to one size?

Alan is right. Keith, just go up to "View" on the IE
window and select "TEXT SIZE". That should resolve your
issue. If not or if IT DOES post it to the board.

I can confirm that IE6 will NOT display the font at the
correct size. I am typing this in Mozilla because both IE6
and AOL on my 3 week old Dell 5100 laptop:

A. render fonts at odd sizes (irrespective of the
"View/Font" setting and
B. do not show background colour e.g.

<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 3.2 Final//EN">
<HTML>
<HEAD>
<TITLE></TITLE>
<META NAME="Generator" CONTENT="TextPad 4.4">
<META NAME="Author" CONTENT="?">
<META NAME="Keywords" CONTENT="?">
<META NAME="Description" CONTENT="?">
</HEAD>

<BODY BGCOLOR="#FF00FF" TEXT="#000000" LINK="#FF0000"
VLINK="#800000" ALINK="#FF00FF">
Frame2

</BODY>
</HTML>

is simply the word "frame2" on a white page in IE6, but is
a loverly puce colour in Mozilla.

Please help. IE is my browser of choice, but is currently
unusable.

PS: Yes, I did install Mozilla AFTER the problem started.
PPS: The 3d effects on the Mediaplayer play/pause/volume
controls have also disappeared

I have the same issue and changing the size in IE makes
no difference. I cant reinstall because i get the newer
version is already installed message as well and i cant
see some of the info on certain websites i use for work.
The gridlines are missing,as well as colors. this
happened at the same time that the letters went huge on
my on some websites.Yet some are just fine???? The M in
Microsoft takes up more than the entire screen. I make
the text the smallest. and is still huge....Help me too!!

Keith- I have the same issue..the M on microsoft takes up
more than the page..this is not a sizing issue...I reloaded
IE and still have the same problem..Have gone to other web
browsers...They seem to have no answer..Spoke to Microsoft
yesterday..No clue...Now use Mozilla and Opers..both free
browsers...Let me know if you find a fix

I'm having the same problem, and changing, in view/font settings, does not
correct it. It does display properly when I use Netscape.
