Font size

Maybe I'm in the wrong newsgroup, but here goes.
I'm changing from pixel size 800x600 to 1024x768 (which makes things
smaller) . In IE6 went to view/text size and chose largest. There was no
change in the size of fonts or anything else at a web site.
Is there a way in which I can accompolish this challenge?

IE Tools>Internet Options>General>Accessibility> anything checked here?
