I'm using IE 6.0 SP2. How do I change the font IE chooses for a CSS
font-family: san-serif? The one it chooses right now is unreadable. I
know I can disable custom fonts, but I would like to keep that
functionality. Is there any way to make IE choose a different san-serif
font?

Hi,
Try different fonts in Internet Options> General> Fonts.

Perhaps you misunderstand.
When working withOUT style sheets, IE uses the user's choice from
"Internet Options> General> Fonts."
When working WITH style sheets, IE chooses an appropriate font based on
the "font-family" setting in the style sheet NOT the user's choice.

My question is: How can I change what font IE chooses for font-family:
sans-serif?

Hi,
Go through your Fonts folder and move fonts you don't intend to use to
another folder you've created named Unneeded Fonts, or something like that.
I've moved out all fonts that I find to be difficult to read (or just
unattractive.)
