font mapping

I have three rotis sans fonts on my PC, when I open a document that has one of these "rotis sans serif bold" Pagemaker substitues plain "rotis sans serif". (A dialogue box comes up telling me which fonts it has to substitute.) I can go into preferences and font mapping and try to change which font is mapped to rot san ser bold but the bold version of this font is not listed here (although it is clearly in my fonts folder, and all three fonts came from the same disk). I have tried deleting and re-installing both the ttf and the pfm versions but it still is not viewable via Pagemaker. These fonts are fine via Word

Since Pagemaker isn't part of Windows and you know the font works with
other applications, you should contact Pagemaker's tech support for
help with their software.
