My font folder is acting like anormal folder...there is not an option to
"install a font". I have used TweakUI to "repair the fonts folder", but it
didnt do a thing. I dont thin kthat you can just copy the fonts into there
bc ive read that registry items and all that are created with new fonts.

What shall i do? Thanks

If the "Install Fonts" option is missing, do:

Start>Run cmd [enter]
cd c:\Windows\fonts [enter]
then type "attrib fonts +s +r" without the quotes.

If this doesn't do it, replace the fontext.dll by expanding it from
either your XP cd or your C:\Windows\i386 folder using the System
Configuration Utility:

Start>Run msconfig [enter]

Look for the "Expand" button on the General tab.

Malke

All Programs | Accessories | Command Prompt and write the following the
command:-

ATTRIB +S C:\WINDOWS\FONTS
and then EXIT

[change the drive accordingly]
