font failures in wordpad save dialog

Xp pro (SP-3 and all current updates)

I've noticed an odd bug in my laptop. Wordpad displays blank boxes
forfilename text in dialog boxes. Someone gave me a fi earlier but I lost
it. What was that fix?

Ok, I ran the "regsvr32 jscript.dll," but on check of the regkey

{f414c260-6ac0-11cf-b6d1-00aa00bbbb58} I found two of them

One has value of JScript Language - /implemented categories shows duplicate
(2) entires with no value set

the other shows JScript Language Authoring /implemented catagories shows one
entry (different character string - but also has no value set

One shows ProgID as JScript
The other shows PRogID as JScript Author

Here's something to try: Export the regkey, then delete it; register
jscript.dll again and see what happens. Restore the backup if need be.
