Can I change font color based on equations < or >

I would like an equation that says if the number in C1 is > B1 then font
color is blue and if C1 is < B1 then font color is red.

Is there such a function?

hi
no, there is not such a function but you can use conditional fomating.
not sure where you want the conditional formating, in b1, c1, both or
somewhere else. lets say C1. selecft C1
on the menu bar...
format>conditional formating.
in the left drop down select cell value is.....
in the next box, select greater than....
inthe last box, enter B1.
click the format button, select font, color = blue
Click the add button.
for the second conditon.
in the left drop down select cell value is.....
in the next box, select less than....
inthe last box, enter B1.
click the format button, select font, color = blue
click ok.
post back if you have problems.
