Font Color

Does Excel 2000 offer the capability to customixe font or
fill color as in Word? I need to customize the colors we
are using in Excel to match our company colors. Thank you!

Tools>Options>Color. Modify button.

Note also the "copy colors from" button.

If you have a workbook with Custom colors, you can import that scheme to the
workbook you are working with.

You must have both workbooks open at the time.

Hi Laurie,
You are limited to using the colors in the 56 color palette,
though you can change the color for any of the 56 colors.
Something I would avoid -- especially since colors are not
all that distinguishable on a laptop. More information on color

The color does not go with the font. You can provide the
font color or background color via. Format, cells, font
and Format, cells, pattern
