Font Change size when view in "Larger or Largest" View on IE

I am trying AVOID that the text of my web page is modified when viewed in IE
set to “View/Text Size/Larger†or Largest.

I have noticed that this ONLY happens if I format the text using the Font
Sizes supplied by Front Fage: 1 (8 pts), or 2 (10 pts) etc.

Somehow in one of my pages I have pasted from somewhere a text that is NOT
affected by the IE View Larger Text setting.
I have notice that this text is formatted as: 8pt or 10pt or 12pt.

This is GREAT but this type of formatting does NOT appears in the Font Size
drop down menu in FPage, so the only way I learned to apply this text
formatting, is using the “Format Painter†tool and then change manually the
font size if necessary.
This is quite an inconvenient...

How can I ADD or better make this type of text formatting as DEFAULT in
Front Page?
In other words, when I want to format a text to size 12, I do NOT want to
formatted like is now: 3 (12 pts), but instead to: 12pt

I have a very good example in my web site.

There is no way to reliably prevent someone from resizing your fonts, other
than by making all of your content into graphics.

Question: Why do you think people increase the Font Size?

Is it so that they can read the content? If so, then why do you want to stop people from being able
to read the content of your site?

Don't try to change how fonts appear when viewed in Larger or
Largest. If a user has Larger or Largest font settings for their browser it
is for a reason (usually that being they can't see the web page well). If
you force the user to maintain the font the way you want instead of the way
they want or need, you'll only make these people angry and they will leave
and never return (not to mention get miffed at the audacity of some
webmasters).

The font sizes that are stated in FP (such as 1 for 8 pts, 3 for 12
pts) are actually part of the HTML standard and simply creates the following
HTML element <font size="3">. This works nicely because it is part of the
standard. You can augment things using Cascading Style Sheets whereby you
define named items that have certain properties (such as font
size/color,etc...) but it is often best to use a mix in order to reach the
greatest number of web browsers and users. You can google for Cascading
Style Sheet tutorial or CSS tutorial to get more information on this.

Bottom line though, don't try to mess with people's personal browser
settings and try to make their experience exactly how you want it or you'll
end up just annoying the people who really need it (and waste a whole lot of
your own time in the process).
