Font and Spacing Problem

G

Guest

When I type something out in Microsoft Word and copy-paste it into Microsoft
FrontPage everything is fine and dandy. The font spacing looks correct and
just like what I typed in Microsoft Word. When I go to preview in browser
what I typed, Micrososft FrontPage puts in extra line spacing. What's up
with that?! Is this a bug? Is there anyway I can fix this? I've fiddled
with paragraph spacing to no avail. Any suggestions?

Thanks

I think you will find that you have to copy what you have typed in Word and
paste it into a text editor (notepad will do) and then copy and paste it
from here.

The problem I found when copying from Word was that there seem to be a lot
of hidden imbedded commands that get transferred to FP.

FP always double spaces a hard return. You will have to
use soft return when typing the document which I know
makes formatting hard. You can type it in word and format
it in FP. To get the single space effect - you need to
shft and return.

Someone else out there probably has the expert answer.
This is my laymen - but experienced, experiece.

Best to just type into FP and save the step of having to copy from Word, etc.
