Folders in Explorer opening with wrong application

After uninstalling a windows explorer replacement (the file manager
program that is), I can no longer navigate the original microsoft
explorer because the 3rd party program did not retie the folder
associations back to microsoft explorer.

Whenever I am in explorer and I double-click on a folder, the computer
tries to open the folder with a media player (?). Are there any .reg
files or quick fixes out there to set everything back to normal?

Thank you in advance.

Thanks, that was exactly what I needed... and sorry about the name
thing.

Glad to have helped. It also helps when you call something by its proper
name. ;-)
