Folder Views always go back to Icon View

I would like to always have my folders open with the full details. I checked remember each
folders view settings in folders Options but they keep opening up in Icons.
Is their anything else I can do to have that work?

first go to any folder choose the detail view for it than go to folder
option and on the same windoe you checked your "remember sw" look at the top
of that window and choose Apply to all folders

I just tried that but that box did not let me do it was grayed out so I uncheck it and did
it again and was still no option so I just hit Apply.
Should I hit Reset all folders?

You need to open Windows Explorer > Tools > Folder Options> View, 'click
'Apply to all folders'. It's grayed out attempting from 'Control Panel
Folder Options > View'. Hope this helps.

View tab>click "Apply to all Folders">Apply>OK
